The easiest way to grow your database is to have a subscription form on your website or at the point of sale, inviting visitors to sign up for your mailing list.
It’s not necessary for you to manually update or delete contacts who unsubscribe from your mailing list.
You can use this request to get the results of an import once it is complete.
You can personalise your messages according to any information imported into the system. A common personalisation is by contact name, like “Dear John”.
This request will return a subset of all the lists a contact is subscribed to. You can include the page, count, order, direction, and filter variables to affect the list you receive.
It is possible to delete bounced contacts, but we don’t recommend it. Why? Because if you delete bounced contacts, you risk accidentally re-importing them as subscribers at a later stage and sending emails to previously confirmed undeliverable addresses.
You can use this request to update a contact’s details. Use the contact’s ID to specify which contact to update, and enter the properties to update in an array.
To search for a specific contact, hover over the Database Management icon (person with a cog) in the platform navigation and click Manage Contacts.
You can use this request to import contacts via an FTP client.
